Cupping

Suction therapy for selected muscle and circulation concerns

Cupping creates suction on the skin through specialised cups. In TCM terms, it is used to support blood flow beneath the cup, relax muscles and assist with stagnation.

Pain relief for back and shoulder pain
Relaxation through muscle tension release
Skin health support for selected concerns
Dry, wet, fire and moving cupping types

Moxibustion

Gentle warmth for cold, damp or low-energy patterns

Moxibustion uses burning dried mugwort, known as moxa, close to selected acupuncture points. Warmth, circulation and Qi flow are central to how the treatment is explained.

M01

Common concerns

Joint and muscle pain, digestive disorders, menstrual health, fertility support, fatigue and immune support can be discussed when moxibustion is suitable.

M02

Application methods

Indirect moxibustion, direct moxibustion with a protective barrier and moxa stick warming allow different levels of warmth.

M03

Used alongside acupuncture

Moxibustion may be used on its own or alongside acupuncture when the practitioner considers it suitable.
